She did it again! Isabel got into some peanut butter. I think Mae dropped some on the floor today when making her sandwich (really, how does this happen?). I didn't notice it right away and Isabel decided to do some finger lickin'! It took about ten minutes before her allergic reaction started. Good thing I followed doctors advice and had some Benedryl on hand for just such an occassion! I had hoped that maybe I was wrong last time, and that Isabel wasn't really allergic to peanut butter. I was wrong. Poor baby girl, her eyes were itchy and she kept rubbing them as her face got red with little bumps. At least she got a bath out of the whole ordeal (she had been playing in the tub this morning with no water and her clothes on. I think this was her way of finally getting one!) She's doing fine now. I'm so glad I pick up that bottle of Benedryl, and glad that I didn't have to take her to the ER! Praise the Lord!!!

Uh oh.....Poor Issy! Glad she is OK though and SuperMom was there with the meds...Go Mom :)
Allergies are so strange. I'm glad she didn't need a trip to the ER.
Last night we were eating some fresh pineapple with our dinner, and John started cry. I looked over and saw that his little chin was all red and itchy - I think from the pineapple juice. So I cleaned him up and made him cry by not letting him have any more pineapple.
How scary! Glad that she is okay and that it didn't turn out worse.
Praise God that she is okay! Allergies can be so scary!
