I seem to remember a story involving a child surviving a trip over the falls. So I say, FACT!

Fact. He did it because his friend said he was going to jump off a bridge, and he caved into peer pressure. His friend was smarter and wore a bungee cord. :)

I was just there two years ago, but I think I was preoccupied that I didn't read any signs!!! It is beautiful, but so much was made about the adults that survived, I'm going with Chris and saying, "CRAP!" (It does feel good to say that word sometimes!)

I'm going with fact. Kids are pretty resiliant after all.

Fact-o-rama! (sorry Chris, maybe next time!) His name was Roger Woodward, and he was seven when Jim Honeycutt, a family friend, took him and his older sister Deanne for a boat ride on the Niagara River on July 9, 1960. Things went wrong when the engine stalled. The boat was pulled toward the rapids and capsized, throwing all three passengers overboard. Honeycutt died, but Deanne was rescued just before she would have fallen over the Canadian side of Horseshoe Falls (180 feet high). Roger, however, did fall, but was rescued by a boat crew. Amazingly, he was conscious, with only a slight concussion.
