Note to Self:

Next time you're in the grocery store and wandering down the forbidden isle of cookies and unnecessary snacks, please listen to that small voice inside that is telling you not to buy the Reduced Fat Nilla Wafers. Remember that they are gross and not worth it, even if they sport a reduced sale price.

Think: hard-ish, almost stale-like yuckiness vs. the crumbly goodness that the 'regular' Nilla Wafers are.

Even if you think you are doing yourself a favor by getting them because they are 'better for you', you're not. It's a waste of good cookie money. Period.

Note taken. Wasting perfectly good cookie money on yucky reduced-fat anything is not worth it!

Been there done that! Ugh!

Yep, done that too! The Walmart version is nasty too. Some things are just worth paying the extra money for and eating the extra calories. ;)

Agreed! Somethings are just worth it! I wonder if those ones would be good to use in a recipe where they could soak in other goodness.

My four year old calls them b'anilla dippers, 'cuz you dip them in milk.

PS: Costco sells the giant two pack!

Thanks for the tip, will scratch them off my shopping list.

I hate when I buy the healthier version and it tastes like cardboard or worse! Makes me buy the regular and forget about eating healthy. Maybe I should just stick to fruit and veggies....

I sooo agree. Yuck. Reduced fat is not worth it, even for the reduced price.
