What's For Dinner?

Help! I'm drowning in recipes of same-ness! I need some new dinner recipes. We are getting tired of different versions of "chicken delight". Can anyone give me some new ideas or recipes for my dinner repertoire? I don't mind chicken, it is easy to work with, I just need to "delight" in something new.

Help? Anyone? Please?

I can relate to this!!!!!!!!

My kids LOVE this chicken nuggets recipe (my husband and mother-in-law like it too!)

2 cups shredded wheat cereal-big size, crushed to 1 cup
1/2 cup grates Parmesean Cheese
1/2 tsp seasoned salt
1/4 tsp paprika
1/8 tsp garlic powder

1/2 cup mayo
1 tbls honey
2 tsp mustard

1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts cut into chunks or strips

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Combine the first 5 ingredients in a large bowl. Combine the next three ingredients and add the chicken. Dip or roll the coated chicken pieces in the cereal mixture evenly. Place on shallow pan. Bake 12-15 minutes until no longer pink in the middle.

Yum!

I hear ya! I have no idea what we are going to have tonight, but on Tuesday we had Breakfast for dinner and it was a big hit. I never make good breakfasts in the morning, so scrambled eggs, fried eggs, pancakes, bacon, toast, and juice were a real treat!

I like to roast a whole chicken once in a while - it looks so fancy but it is really easy to fix. And then there are leftovers for chicken alfredo, or chicken noodle soup, or chicken devon, or ...

P.S. Tag! You are it!

You know what is fast and kids will love..It's called Impossible Cheesburger Pie. You can find the recipe on the inside of a Bisquick box. It's pretty yummy!!
Another one the kids love is called Zesty Italian Casserole. I don't have exact ingrediants, but it's not too hard...

1lb. ground beef
1 small onion chopped (if desired)
1/2 jar of your fav. tomato/pasta sauce
1-2 cups sour cream
1-2 cups shredded mozzerella
1/2 cups parmesan cheese
1 Pillsbury Crescent Dinner Roll

Brown the meat & onions and pour in sauce

In a seperate bowl, mix together sour cream, mozz. & parm cheese

Pour meat mixture in 13 x 9 dish
Layer cheese mix on top (spread evenly)
Roll out Cresent top to cover cheese mix
(Lightly spead butter on top of Crescent layer)

Bake uncovered at *350 for about 20-25 minutes or until crescent is golden brown

ENJOY :)
