Not Much to Report

I wish had something great to write about today. I've been on the computer just about all afternoon, you'd think there would be something to say about it. Nope. Not really. I was, however, notified by Amazon that yet another book of mine has sold! That's good news, yes? Yes, it is. Let's see, after I am paid for this book I think my total of all books sold (4) should be about $23. Not bad eh?

You may wonder what in the world have I been doing all afternoon on the computer. Yeah, I'd like to know too. The computer is such a time sucker for me. I'm helpless, what can I say. Sadly, I do know what I've been doing. I was listing one more thing on Ebay. Ryan calls me Ebayin' Mama. I looked, the name has already been taken. Darn! Oh well, I'll stick with the name I already have. Can you guess what it is??? Anyway, I listed a bunch of stamping magazines that I accumulated when I was a demonstrator for Stampin' Up!. The other thing I did today was list my last Stampin' Up! catalog on Amazon. See, I've done my homework and I can get way more through selling on Amazon than with Ebay. Yep, Ebayin' mama, that's me!

Hope your day was more eventful (in a good way) than mine. Now I'm gonna get off this computer and read my book.

Ever After by Karen Kingdbury! Have you read the first book by her, Even Now, or anything else by her?? Right now I gotta say that she is my favorite author....oh, I like Tedd Dekker too. Who's your fav?

Do you have FOREVER yet? I am anxiously awaiting a chance to read that one. I was at the library this afternoon and picked up BEYOND TUESDAY MORNING and the Ted Dekker series BLACK, RED, and WHITE. They look interesting. I must agree, I am on a Karen Kingsbury kick right now. I just finished DIVINE and A THOUSAND TOMORROWS. They were both really good as all of hers seem to be. Sorry we missed your call this afternoon.

I so had the same kind of day to day. The computer addiction got a weeee bit out of hand.

Ah well, won't have to work hard to be better tomorrow!

The same thing happens to me. I will sit down for just a minute, and wake up an hour later to find that I didn't do the one task I needed to do online.

Maybe you should be "amazon mama", wadda ya think? My all time favorite has to be Fancine Rivers. She's amazing. And a lot of her stories take place in CA, so it's like reading about home.

Ooooh! I just noticed I didn't have to type in three of those nonsense words before my comment would take!! You must love me.

I sooo know what you mean about the computer time. It suckers me in too....about 3 hours in the afternoon when all is quiet w/ the kids. Crazy huh :P

Sooo? What is your ebay name? Is that too personal? Just curious since you mentioned it! I'm assuming it has something to do with stamping.

Ebay name???.....not tellin'! Gotta guess! :P (unless you are interested in buying some stamping magazines!)

hint: nothing to do with stamping.

Yes, I get sucked into the world of the computer too. THat is why I have been blogging less lately. I have to get some other stuff done too. Glad to hear you've been making some $$ on-line. Makes it worth it I guess. ;)

okay, confession time. When I asked what the name of your book was, I somehow read the first paragraph as meaning that you had sold a book that you had written. that's what sleep deprivation and many noisy kids does to your brain! I just knew that Chris' fabulous friend had to be famous and had written a book. You are writing a book, right? I know you could!!!

As for Karen Kingsbury, I do love her books, but had to stop reading them because they affected my emotions too much. I would read one in a day (of course not able to put it down ever) and then be a weepy mess for the next two days. Not good. Maybe one of these days when my kids are older, I'll try again.

Jenn...too funny! Nope, I'm not an author (unless my blog counts!?) :) Should I write a book? Not sure what my area of expertise would be....except maybe how to burn time on the internet, or how to allow kids to make you crazy, or how to make friends through blogs! :)
