I don't have much time but I wanted to shoot off a quick post while I had the chance! My parents are coming today for the weekend and I have a few more things to do before they arrive in a few hours. Right now I don't have enough time to start a cleaning project or run to the store before I have to pick up Mae from school, but I do have time for this quick post!
Let's see, before my parents get here I still need to:
- go to the store and get a few items for dinner and desert (Chicken Lansagne Florentine, mmmmm, anyone want the recipe?)
- clean kids bathroom (not in too bad of shape but does need some attention)
- tidy up the kitchen counters (that always need to be done!)
- have kids pick up toys and tidy their own rooms (again, that always need to be done)
- clean up table and chairs (who wants to sit on kid-sticky chairs?)
- find folding table for dinner (there will be adults and 3 kids at the table, yikes...gotta find that table!!!)
- if I have time I'd also like to clean the counters in my bathroom, you never know if a guest will have to pass by to use the second bathroom!

Have a great weekend with your guests! Sounds like fun. Of course I would love the recipe. I'm still holding out for your chili recipe you mentioned the other day. :D

I love to do lists! Sounds like a fun weekend. Wipe sticky chairs - should probably do that, too....

I read my husband the riot act this weekend. I told him, "Deanne's husband knows her intimately. He reads her blog everyday!."
Secret Agent Man never reads my blog. At first it bothered me, then it didn't bother me, now it bothers me again.
My husband doesn't read my blog unless I read it to him. He doesn't spend much time around computers and I hog ours at home. At least I can blog about him and he won't care. ;)
ps. bring on the recipes, I love trying new recipes. :D
I must confess that Ryan doesn't read my blog often, if at all. He wanted me to put that 'testimonial' in there, he thought it was funny (and it is). He does allow me to post funny things about him.....I'll have to that soon, when I can get my words together. :)
