Many a time have I wanted to break out into to song while in the midst of a toddler meltdown or when chasing one down in the store, or goading the child with words such as 'would you just hurry up!' while trying to make it up to the cashier so we can get on with our day.
What song would I break out into, you ask?
This one, but I don't get much farther than 'agony!'

I adore you even more now...I say GO for it! Then, as you break into song from an award winning musical, mothers who have the same musical appreciation as you will gather 'round and next thing you know you will have the whole cast of Into the Woods assembled in the checkout lanes of Target and although you might fight over who gets to sing "Children Will Listen" (or should it be "Children SHOULD Listen?") it will be remembered as the most glorious and unifying moment in your never ending career choice as a MOM.
