....Snack!
I know, I know, there is such thing as microwave popcorn. But this stuff is better than any popcorn I've ever had. Period.
Want to know how to make it too??!? It's super-easy.
Grab a stock pot and pour just enough olive oil to cover the bottom of the pot. Toss in three popcorn kernels and turn the stovetop on high. After the three kernels pop then you know that the oil is hot enough to pop popcorn. Add enough kernels to cover the bottom of the pot, then put the lid on the pot. As the kernels pop, I shake the pot from side to side a little, just to keep it from burning, but it's not necessary. When the popping kernels slow or when you no longer hear them popping then it's done! I sprinkle salt on and mix it up real good, then and serve.
Wah-lah, homemade popcorn! And it's healtier than most microwave popcorn. Can't beat that!
**and I still contend that popcorn is a vegetable! *wink wink*
