The Prose of Rain

It's been raining a little bit for about a week. We even had a thunderstorm on Friday, which is unusual for this area. A couple days ago the kids and I were in the truck when it started raining pretty hard. Mae noted this and sang the little rhyme about the rain.

'it's raining, it's pouring, the old man is sneezing!'

Not exactly the way I remember the rhyme, maybe it was prose?

I can't wait to hear the silly things Donovan will have to say in the next few years. At this point I'm waiting for the first recognizable word or sign.

Mae is funny. Too bad she isn't closer for me to hear her funnies myself. Miss you!

Too cute!

I love the funny way kids mess up the words. Of course, grown-ups are even funnier. =P

Just catching up with you tonight while Todd has the girls at soccer practice. Glad your week with Ryan gone went well. The kids look so big in their new digs. I miss you all. Can't wait to see you soon.
